Directions to ramp:
From the north take I495 south (to Cape Cod). Take the I195 exit to get to route 28 (Exit 21 off of I195). Follow the signs to Main St, Wareham Center. Follow Main Street (route 6) thru town and at the traffic light just over the Wareham River, take a right on Narrows Road. Take your next right on Oak Street and the ramp is a short distance on the right. From the west use I195 and take exit 21 onto route 28 and follow the above directions.
Ramp condition and docks:
There is a double wide ramp with a good slope. There is a dock next to the ramp and additional docking off a float.
Parking and Fee:
There is no security but boaters do use the lot for over night parking. If you park over night take an envelop from the box by the ramp and fill it out. The charge is $5.00 per day.(Friday night, Saturday, Sunday though less than 48 hours is 3 days) You will have no problem rigging and launching Friday night. It's a good ramp with a dock, however if you wait to Saturday you may have a parking problem as a lot of fishermen use the ramp. They usually return by 10 AM which will free up parking spaces if you are a late arrival. There is some room to anchor near the ramp but the water is a little thin so raise your centerboards and watch the current.
Amenities:
There are Chemical toilets and a water faucet.
