Directions to ramp:
Follow RT #3A South from Boston. Cross Weymouth Fore River. Travel 1.5 miles to
lights at the intersection of RT #3A and Neck St. Left onto Neck St. for 1/2 mile. Parking lot
and ramp are on the right directly across from a beach on the left. If Neck St. is missed a
large shopping center appears on the right off RT #3A just before crossing the Weymouth Back
River bridge.MapRamp condition and docks:
Two ramps are available with a good slope and a dock can be utilized for
temporary tie ups. There is about an eight foot tide which will allow launching in all but the
lowest of tides with the rudder and board up. The ramp is crowded on late Sunday afternoons but
the rest of the time is not a problem. ChartParking and Fee:
Parking and launching fees are $6.00 per night or $40.00 per season. There
are two large parking lots which have yet to be filled. The Weymouth assistant harbor master
directs the launching and hauling operations on the weekends.
Amenities:
A portable toilet is available. Two floating docks on each side of the double ramp
aid in launching etc. A full service boatyard is near by.
