Directions to ramp:
Take route 1 (Not the bypass) into downtown Rockland. When Route 1 takes a left at a traffic light take a right onto route 73 south. Go 0.6 miles. Take left onto Mechanic Street. Ramp is one block down the road next to Hurricane Island Outward Bound shore facilities.
MapRamp condition and docks:
The double ramps, which has docks between them, are suitable for launching at any tide (12 ft).

There is one rock in the harbor which you must watch out for at low tide. I have had no trouble picking up a Hurricane Island mooring. They are marked "HIOB". THis is a great place to sail from. There are lots of destinations.
