I. Meeting called to order 10:15. by "Mother Hen" Barbara Garland (since the 'flag officers" weren't there.) Note for those of you not familiar with Yacht Clubs "Flag officers" are Commodore, Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore.

III. Review of Previous minutes
Minutes of the January meeting were posted on the web page. A motion was made to waive passing of minutes, passed by acclimation.

IV. Treasurer's Report: Presented by Tony Distefano:
As of today, we have $1505.58, in the treasury. There is an outstanding bill for $24.55 for the Rear Commodore flag. At present there are 87 paid up members.

V. Pending Business
Club Buttons - still pending since Karen is in Florida sailing.
Bylaws - Still pending since Barbara is busy in a new relationship with an old friend (Those of you not at the meeting will have to wait to find out who!!)
Rear Commodore Flag - It has been purchased and Tony will send it to Harry

VI. Presentations:
Tony Distefano presented information on basic chart reading. The main reason for this is that we shouldn't be relying soly on electronic equipment but should continually practice reading charts, plottig courses and figuring out where we are without the aid of electronic equipment.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 and we went out to eat and or to the boat show in Boston
