Meeting called to order at 12:00 p.m. by Commodore Jack Chadowitz – Jack welcomed everyone. Introductions all around.



Minutes from March 30, 2008 – Barbara Garland made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes, seconded by Judy Gould and passed by acclamation. They appear on the NETS Website.



Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer Tony DiStefano was absent. Barbara Garland reported that as of November 1, 2008 we have a bank balance of $2355.60 and no outstanding bills. We have 117 members, one of which is from England. Harry Sechman accepted the report; it was seconded by Al Hill and passed by acclamation.



NETS Board Activities –


New England Multi-Haul Association wants to do more cruising. Ken Levitt, who is the Cruise Director, would like to invite this club to our Lake Champlain rendezvous. Barbara Garland stated that NETS has always encouraged other groups to join us. She reminded us that our name was changed to include all trailerable sailors.

The Commodore needs to ask if there is anyone who would like to hold a position on the board at the December meeting (held before the Christmas Party), where the slate of officers will be voted on

Harry Sechman made a motion at 2:20 P.M. to adjourn the meeting; it was seconded by Ed Goodhue and it passed by acclamation.
