Greetings All

I am putting a permanent Moeller 11 gallon fuel tank into the lazarette of our 94 Mac 26S. I have taken precautions to completely seal off the lazarette in order to prevent gas fumes from entering the cabin. The tank will be vented to the deck by a 5/8 rubber line and the lazarette will also be vented with small air scopes. The tank fill will be close to the engine well. The tank will be grounded to a bus bar which is also a terminal location for the negative ground for the Honda motor.
Question: Anybody have any suggestions on where the best location the fuel guage would be? I am thinking that it would last longer if it was out of the weather and therefore located next to my circuit breakers which are above the alcohol stove.
