Shoot thru the Hull Depth Finder
Has anyone mounted a "shoot thru the hull" depth finder in their boats? Any idea where the best place to put the sounding unit would be? I was trying to think of some place near the center board or just in front of it. I guess either way it will not be centered. Any ideas welcomed. Thanks.

Re: Shoot thru the Hull Depth Finder
I mounted mine on the hull under the rear berth of our M, in a PVC pipe section filled with water. It is held down by a dot of 5200 and it works quite well. I could have mounted it further forward, but what is a few feet going to add!

A boat is never 'finished', if there is nothing for you to currently work on, it is merely 'resting'.
